One Porch Light
This house is under development application to be put on the local, state and national historic registers. It is 718n market and it is completely run down and boarded up. I have heard a rumour that it is going to be turned into large flats. Time will tell.

This is my great uncle Eugene. Born, raised and lived his life farming in NorthWest Kansas has made him very wise. He doesn’t pull punches, he will tell you what he thinks but he is also one of the orneriest people that I know. This is a snapshot turned portrait I took this past deer season. He was born in the midst of the depression to a family of 16 kids (9 boys and 7 girls). I have had many a memorable visit to his farm.

This model has amazing natural talent. She comes prepared and ready to work. I showed her how some of the pictures looked during the shoot and she immediately jumped and improved her look and expression. Hopefully I will be able to post a link to her Mayhem profile soon. Hopefully I will get some more shoots with her soon! What do you think, wouldn’t she make a beautiful calendar?

Wonderful model just getting started, welcome Muneca. She is just getting started but she has amazing natural talent to know what she needs to do to make amazing pictures. I had the pleasure of doing a mini-shoot with her and I am looking forward to some more shoots with her. This was taken with a 20d.

Obviously 3 shots combined together but it is a cool sequence. Can’t decide if I like the idea of the three shots that go together side by side or all in one.

I should probably get an epi pin if I am going to take these regularly.

Some things are pretty, took me 30 shots to get the settings I liked, little bit of photoshop and amazing.

The entire time they were yelling for “James” of Thomas the Train fame. . . only in Kansas can you run down the Yellow Brick road from the Wizard of Oz and chase a train from the Island of Sodor
