Wisdom in those Eyes

This is my great uncle Eugene. Born, raised and lived his life farming in NorthWest Kansas has made him very wise. He doesn’t pull punches, he will tell you what he thinks but he is also one of the orneriest people that I know. This is a snapshot turned portrait I took this past deer season. He was born in the midst of the depression to a family of 16 kids (9 boys and 7 girls). I have had many a memorable visit to his farm.
